Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • Kaccha (Raw) mangoes-2


  • Milk-1 litre


  • Khoya -1/2 cup


  • Suger-1/2 cup


  • Cardamon powder-1 tsp


  • Saffron stand-1 tsp


  • Chopped pistachios and almonds-1 tbsp


  • Alum-1 inch piece

Directions

  • Wash and peel the mangoes and grate it with the help of grater. Soak pulp in sufficient water with a piece of alum for 1 hour.
  • After 1 hour put mango pulp in a sieve and wash under running water till all sourness gone.
  • Boil milk in a kadhai. Cook till milk reduce half of the quantity. Add mango pulp, khoya, Suger, saffron and cardamon powder. Cook till 10-15 minutes on low flame. Add some chopped almonds and pistachios. Off the flame.
  • When the kheer cool down completely keep it in a fridge.
  • Serve chilled garnish with some chopped almonds and pistachios.
